I am a resident of JBS Avondale. One of my obstacles is having a mental illness. I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. I was challenged with plenty of hard times, but, I am attending JBS Day Treatment Center. The program helped me with my recovery, so I became more independent. Attending the classes and art class, I felt like creating and realized that this was part of my calling with no further training. I am self-taught; I like it because it is comforting to me, because I am visually impaired in both eyes.
