I was diagnosed with "childhood schizophrenia" when I was 13 years old. I am now 59 years old and have been diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder since 1973. I graduated from Coffee High School and then college at the University of North Alabama in 1989. I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and minor in history.
 
I have been a published author many times as a poet. I also had journalism published. I like to draw and write. I am taught myself to draw. Art and creativity are some of my coping techniques.
