I have alert, observant eyes, a big, open heart, a mind that embraces memories and life patterns, and autism. Everyday has been challenging to find people who can see, appreciate and understand my gifts even if my ways of communicating are different from the norm. For me, autism presents a daily challenge to regulate and balance the unyielding collection of intense thoughts and feelings that run through me each day. 
 
Every day with the routine and understanding of BCPP, I wake up with excitement for the day, a smile on my face and I overcome these challenges. I began taking pictures with a small camera I received one Christmas. For the past year at BCPP, I have been able to take photos on our weekly photo walks. I am so proud to show others my photography.
