I have had mental illness for years. It has been causing problems in my life since I was a child. I think it was about ten years ago when I was first admitted into the BHU and five years when I started day treatment. I am still struggling but have become a lot more stable since receiving treatment. It helps me be a happier individual and keep me in a daily routine.
 
I draw a lot and I enjoy it as a hobby, not in a professional setting. I've always enjoyed art and music since I was a child. The hardest thing for me is writing. For example my thoughts are hard to put into words. So I use art to define what I cannot say.
