I have Autism. There is a dire shortage of funding for high quality social services for people like me. Due to the nature of autism, I am unable to participate in many activities open to the general population. I have difficulty developing and maintaining relationships. 
 
I have difficulty with communication and expressing my needs. Often I get frustrated when I don’t understand what others are saying and just trying to comprehend abstract language. Often I can’t express my thoughts & feelings appropriately. I experience co-morbidity due to also having seizure disorder. It is now under control with medications and my quality of life is so much better because of it. 
 
Through Expressions of a Braveheart & Braveheart Center for Place & Purpose, I am becoming an artist & finding my niche in photography art. It is fun to get out & explore nature & take photos that show my unique take on the world.
