I have schizoaffective disorder and I am 49 years old. I see and hear things. I came to Riverbend and take my medications to be stable. By taking my medications and coming to treatment I do not see or hear things anymore. I live in an apartment by myself. I work to take care of myself independently.
 
I love art. I learned art from taking classes in school and teaching myself. I like all kinds of art. Art helps me relax and cope with the symptoms of my illness. I like to draw, color, and paint.
