I love art. It is a way of relaxing and seeing how one views the world in which they live. I am one of the founders of Wings across Alabama where I could expand art across the nation with The Visionary Guild and NAMI. It has been a joy to know artist of different styles.
 
I had a mental illness which I’ve had to handle. With a lot of treatment and willingness to keep on; I began to find myself. Art is fun and seeing others have joy in it has made me feel like I could do something with what I loved as a child. I am a Peer Specialist and through my lived life it helps me feel happy. I have Bi-Polar and it is only a part of whom I am. I am a mother of two girls, a grandmother an advocate of individuals of mental illness an advocate of rights for all disabilities.
