I’ve struggled with my feelings, circumstances, and poverty. Sometimes it looks impossible to overcome your obstacles. I was on public assistance and raising six children. Often it’s worth looking at your mistakes, even though sometimes it felt like my faith was a distant choice. With that said, I believe it was God who got me through those struggles and recovery. 
 
I learned to stand strong like a statute; ready to do things I thought I could not do by conjuring up the confidence to make difficult decisions about my past and present. I embraced self-awareness and I am determined to not let my feeling overcome me. As an artist, I’m self-taught, though I’ve started taking classes. I like to express my feelings and let the world see the beauty I see.
