An obstacle I have faced in life is being able to articulate my aspirations and dreams. I am challenged every day with the inability to express myself that others can understand.
 
Challenges I have overcome in life include becoming more independent by holding down a part time job, being excited about working and helping others. My decision-making skills have improved. I know what
I would like to accomplish in a task and I set my mind to do just that. An example of this is the choice of gifts to give others, what I want to wear and eat, but most of all my choice to attend church and enjoy it.
 
My interest in becoming an artist stemmed from photography classes at BCPP where we are given our own cameras to take pictures of things that we like. During these classes, we explore different areas of campus and we are free to take pictures as we desire.
 
I guess you could say that I'm a freelance photographer, because I only take pictures of things that I am attracted to.
